MyCSF ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how MyCSF ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use our mobile application.

We collect the following information when you create an account:

• Account Information: Name, email address, student ID, phone number (optional), and grade level
• Volunteer Hours: Event names, dates, hours completed, and organizer signatures
• Meeting Attendance: Check-in timestamps and attendance records
• Device Information: We use Bluetooth to detect nearby meeting beacons for attendance check-in

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the CSF Tracker service
• Track your volunteer hours and meeting attendance
• Verify your California Scholarship Federation membership eligibility
• Send important notifications about your account

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database platform. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your information may be shared with:

• School administrators and CSF advisors for membership verification
• Service providers who assist in operating our application (e.g., database hosting)

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View your personal information within the app
• Update: Edit your profile information at any time
• Delete: Request deletion of your account and associated data. Account deletion can be initiated within the app under Profile settings. Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.

Children's Privacy

Our app is designed for high school students. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Bluetooth and Location

CSF Tracker uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to detect nearby meeting beacons for automatic attendance check-in. Location services may be required by your device to use Bluetooth scanning. We do not track or store your physical location.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
